Curry Leaves Detox tea

Often used in curries, the leaves are generally called by the name "curry leaves", although they are also known as "sweet neem leaves" in most Indian languages.

Chewing or eating curry leaves regularly cleanses and removes the harmful toxins from the body. Hence, the leaves help your body detoxify naturally, burn more calories, and avoid fat accumulation, which can result in weight loss. They contain mahanimbine, an alkaloid that has anti-obesity and lipid-lowering effects.

Kadi Patta/ Curry leaves/ sweet Neem is available everywhere, in most Indian stores, easy to grow indoors too- it is an intrinsic part of Indian cooking. This detox tea reduces bloating

Method

To a blender add 25-30 curry leaves without the stem and a glass of water. Blend the leaves in water and you will get a green elixir. Put this liquid in a saucepan and boil, till it comes to a rolling boil.

Now add 1 teaspoon ginger juice and juice of 1 lemon.

Now say a little prayer and sip on your refreshing detox tea.
