If you love figs, you will love this ice cream. This is so rich and delicious!! It is a perfect blend of exotic flavor, simply lip smacking!! Give it a try!

You will need

  • 1 pint ( 2 cups) Heavy Whipping cream

  • 14 Oz (1 ¼ cups) Sweetened Condensed milk

  • 1cup Dried slices of figs

  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

Add the figs to boiling water. Cook for 5 minutes. Turn off the heat. Strain, cool and blend the figs to a coarse puree.

Whip the cream to soft peaks using a blender on medium speed. Now gently Mix the vanilla extract, the fig puree, and condensed milk together with the whipping cream. Pour into a metal freezer tray and freeze for about 10 to 12 hours or until solid.

Say a little prayer and relish!

Variation: Add 1/4 cup candied walnuts to the ice cream, trust me it tastes heavenly, I love the crunch.
