A few weekends back a devotee family was visiting us. While baking a cake together, we discussed the alcohol content in the flavorings and extracts, that got me thinking, I need to make a change. I usually used alcohol-free, but never thought it was so easy to make it at home. Let's get started !!

16 ounces food-grade vegetable glycerine
8 Bourbon Madagascar Vanilla Beans
Let's get started..... Pour the vegetable glycerine into the glass bottle. Cut the vanilla beans in half lengthwise. Use the sharp edge of your knife to scrape the seeds away from the bean pods. Add the seeds and bean pods to the vegetable glycerine. Cap bottle and put in a dark place to steep for 6 weeks. Voila!!! In six weeks, it will be ready to be used You can design a fancy label for your bottle, though mine still looks like this, it still smells and tastes heavenly. Add to different preps, offer to The Lord and enjoy His many gifts.
